Punkin Chunkin Cooking Contest

Saturday, November 5. Judging begins at 12:30 PM.

RULES FOR COOKING CONTEST

  1. Judging will begin at 12:30pm. All entries must be received and displayed at the assigned table in the FOOD CONTEST DISPLAY TENT. Late entries cannot be judged, but they are welcome as part of the taste samples and auction.
  2. ALL entries MUST contain canned, frozen or fresh pumpkin (pumpkin pie spice does not count). Recipes need not be originals.
  3. Each entry must have its own entry form and be accompanied by the complete recipe which includes instructions for preparation.
  4. Bring your dish ready to serve. You will be provided with table space to display your entry in an attractive manner. Small servings should be served to the judges and sample ticket holders after the judging. You must supply your own heat source and your own utensils for serving.
  5. You must prepare two complete recipes: one for sampling and one for auction. Auction funds will be donated to a scholarship as directed by the WCPCA Board of Directors.

The World Championship Punkin Chunkin Association supports the mission of the above organizations by contributing to the funding that keeps them going strong. A share of the proceeds from our annual Punkin Chunkin event in November is earmarked for charitable giving. We are proud of our relationship with these vital nonprofits and the work they do to make life better for those in need.
