Spectator Camping

We offer RV, Camper & Tent Camping at the Event. Keep in mind, we conduct our event in the middle of a field and such luxuries as water, sewer & electric are not available.

All campers must have a spectator ticket. Once you purchase your camping spot please go to "Buy Tickets" to get your spectator tickets. Prior to the event, you will be sent mirror hangers to help you navigate traffic to the appropriate location. Wrist bands will be provided at the campground to allow easy access to and from the campground.

Security & Police will be Onsite to Strictly Enforce Rules to make our Event a Safer and More Fun Environment.

  • No Alcohol allowed at the Event. *Bags will be checked prior to entering the event.
  • No Loitering in Public Parking that involves Alcohol.
  • No GLASS containers whatsoever allowed at the event

Additional Prohibited Items inside the festival

  • No Glass
  • No ice or ice packs
  • No coolers
  • No illegal substances, drugs, or drug paraphernalia
  • No illegal or unauthorized vending
  • No weapons or firearms of any kind
  • No slingshots
  • No animals or pets (except service animals)
  • No flammable lanterns
  • No fireworks or any types of explosives
  • No skateboards, scooters, golf carts or personalized motor vehicles
  • No bicycles inside the festival
  • No tents or canopies
  • No soliciting
  • No metal aerosol containers including sunscreen, pepper spray, bug repellent, or spray paint (non-flammable are permitted)
  • No drones or UAV's (unmanned aerial vehicle)
  • No bags, purses or backpacks larger than 16"x16"x8"

General Camping Rules

  • Only camping attendees with their own wristband are allowed to enter into the camping lots.
  • If you arrive with more than one vehicle, you will need to purchase an additional pass for the companion vehicle.
  • NO glass containers.
  • NO weapons of any kind.
  • NO illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia allowed.
  • NO animals will be allowed in any camping lots (with the exception of approved Service Animals.
  • NO ground fires or open fires (contained fires are allowed – they must be above ground in approved grills, smokers, etc.). DO NOT leave fires unattended and DO NOT dump hot coals on the ground or in trash receptacles.
  • One cooking appliance is allowed per campsite. Propane only. No wood, charcoal, or flammable liquids allowed. Maximum amount of propane should not exceed 20 pounds or 48 pounds of water capacity. Cooking appliances are only permitted for use from 7 a.m. – 11 p.m. (EST).
  • NO flags or structures may be erected within 100’ of power lines.
  • NO all-terrain vehicles, golf cars, or motorized two-wheel bikes.
  • NO bicycles or skateboards are allowed in the camping lots.
  • NO sky lanterns, candles, fireworks, or any type of explosives.
  • NO drones or UAV’s (unmanned aerial vehicle).
  • DO NOT cut or deface any property (trees, fences, signs, bridges, walk ways, etc.).
  • ALL WOODED AREAS are OFF LIMITS.
  • NO construction waste for burning
  • NO furniture burning
  • Due to the Ash Board Beetle problem, no outside wood is allowed. Fire material must be approved by Camp Ground Manager. A fire wood vendor will be on site.
  • WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE FOR PUBLIC INTOXICATION
  • NO kegs of beer.
  • Coolers must stay in camp area.

REGISTERED CAMPERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF THEIR VISITORS.

Prohibited items subject to change. All personnel and vehicles subject to search. Any decision interpreting or enforcing these policies is at the discretion of Punkin Chunkin.

For Tent Camping

In addition to GENERAL CAMPING RULES

  • Maximum of four (4) people permitted per campsite. No more than 2 tents.
  • Tents not larger than 4-man tents.
  • Once you are parked in a camping lot, you may not move your vehicle for the duration of the event without approval by the Campground Manager.
  • Only ONE car is allowed per campsite.
  • NO smoking, lighters, flammable lanterns, or fires of any kind are allowed inside of tents.
  • Head in parking only. All vehicles and items must fit within their spot and not impose upon neighboring site or fire lane. No corralling.
  • Trailers are not allowed in General Tent Camping.

Rules for RV Camping

In addition to GENERAL CAMPING RULES

  • Maximum of eight (8) people permitted per campsite.
  • ALL campers must be 18 years or older to camp; those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Once parked in a camping lot, you may not move your vehicle (or RV) for the duration of the event.
  • You will receive your RV campsite in order of arrival.
  • There is NO water, sewer, or electric hook-up for individual RV’s.
  • No drainage of gray water or holding tank. NO dumping or leaching of RV waste. An onsite RV servicing vendor will be available for a nominal fee. Contact information will be provided upon check-in. • Install and maintain smoke and CO2 detectors.
  • Maintain your heating and air conditioning units.
  • Never store flammable liquids under your camper.
  • Have an emergency egress plan from your RV.
  • Portable generators, grills, and portable propane heaters should never be used inside or near RV windows or vents. Should you experience symptoms of CO poisoning such as shortness of breath, mild nausea, or headaches, call 911 immediately.
