Torsion machines are designed utilizing twisted rope as the force behind chunking pumpkins thousands of feet. Onager utilizes 300-400 feet of rope per year to maintain optimal potential energy. Pumpkins leaving Onager’s sling have been tracked at 300 – 320 mph traveling distances over 3000 feet
